Commercial Manager Crossaig As a Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include: Effective Communication: Foster clear communication channels with the Framework Director, Regional Commercial Manager, project management, and other key teams, enhancing the visibility and value of commercial services within the organization. Team Leadership and Development: Manage team-related issues such as succession planning, recruitment, development, and behavior management. Focus on team competency, retention, and effective staff allocation to ensure a strong and adaptable commercial team. Supply Chain Management: Act as the primary commercial liaison with supply chain partners, participating in pre-contract meetings, contract vetting, and development of subcontract documentation. Compliance and Feedback: Oversee audits and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement within the business. Client Relations: Engage with clients and their representatives, providing commercial insights and advice on project-related matters. Project Support: Offer commercial guidance to project teams, contributing to area-wide commercial discussions and strategic planning for optimal project outcomes. Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of monthly cost and value reports, quarterly forecasts, and corporate-related cost documentation. Manage cash-flow forecasting and ensure timely presentation of financial reports. Risk and Dispute Management: Identify potential disputes and manage risk proactively, including producing and negotiating insurance claims as required. Legal and Contractual Oversight: Oversee the engagement of legal and commercial consultants, ensuring efficient account management and service delivery. Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who have: A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Commercial Manager overseeing multiple projects. Joint Venture experience. Membership in a professional institution (ICES or similar) or are actively pursuing membership. A collaborative, open approach, with a willingness to support team members. A degree in Commercial, Construction, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
