As an electrical qualified multiskilled engineer, the role will be orientated around electrical works with the requirement for flexibility and willingness to undertake other non-electrical works which fall within the scope of the service level agreement. This could be a variety of jobs relating to maintaining, repairing, and replacing assets around the site whether it be specific piece of equipment, works to a building or to the wider site infrastructure. Undertake Equipment Maintenance and repair operations focused on providing front-line business support to the highest levels of equipment availability, reliability and safely, ensuring compliance with legislation relating to equipment assets. Accountability Responsibilities: Tasks or duties which must be performed well in the role in order to succeed. i.e. solution analysis, project management etc. Ensuring plant and equipment remain in a safe operating condition. Ensure equipment remains reliable and in compliance. Tasks: A piece of work to be done within the responsibility of the role. i.e. keep records of maintenance, coordinate work with engineers, assemble prototypes of machines for testing etc. Complete planned preventive and reactive maintenance on various production and manufacturing equipment. Complete reactive repairs as needed ensuring work quality meets required standards. Ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner and all records are maintained and in accordance with the CMMS, computerized maintenance management system. Completed a recognised apprenticeship (Essential) i.e. Electrical, mechanical or multiskilled (desirable) Holds a supportive engineering or maintenance qualification at level 3 or above i.e. NVQ Level 3 or BTEC ONC /HNC (essential) IOSH Safety certification (Desirable) Working at Heights, IPAF Licence (Essential) Driving licence (Essential) Certified in compliance matters; E.g. Machinery Safety, DSEAR, PUWER etc. (Desirable) City & Guilds or equivalent in Machine Tool Maintenance (Desirable) Experience: Identify the type of general and/or managerial experiences required. Experience should be based on the job requirements and not on the experience level of the incumbent. Previous experience of working in a Production Maintenance team.
