Are you a skilled Cyber Security Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Security Technologies and Incident Response? We’re looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic security team in Reading!
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting proactive monitoring and analysis of security threats to ensure systems and data remain secure.
* Managing, configuring, and optimising Microsoft Security technologies and tooling, including Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Azure Sentinel.
* Responding swiftly and effectively to security incidents, applying incident response protocols, and leading investigations.
* Implementing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and controls to minimise risks and ensure compliance.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive security awareness and best practices across the organisation.
* Performing vulnerability assessments, patch management, and other preventive measures to safeguard systems and networks.
What You'll Bring?
* Proven experience as a Cyber Security Analyst with hands-on experience in Microsoft Security Technologies (Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Azure Sentinel, etc.).
* Strong background in Incident Response procedures, including analysis, containment, and remediation of security incidents.
* Understanding of security frameworks, risk assessments, and best practices.
* Familiarity with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Relevant industry certifications are desirable.
In return you can expect a salary of between £45,000-£50,000 and hybrid working with 2 days from home.
