They will hold a Paediatric Physiotherapy caseload of children aged 0-19 with complex neurological problems based at Hexham Hospital but will be expected to work in other areas of the trust as the needs of the service commands.They will undertake assessments and treatment of children and young people working in various settings including patients homes and schoolsTo provide a highly specialised paediatric physiotherapy service for children with a variety of complex and challenging conditions To provide specialist advice to families, carers, other health and social care professionals and education services. To maintain effective communication with the multidisciplinary team, including providing advice for Education, Health and Care plans within the defined time frame. To contribute to planning, development and auditing of the Paediatric Physiotherapy service and Wheelchair service within the trust, holding responsibility for defined projects. To attend inservice training and clinical support and supervision To clinically supervise qualified, unqualified staff and students within the Paediatric Physiotherapy and Wheelchair services
