A client within the Public Sector based in Merseyside is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join their City Development team as soon as possible. The client is offering a part-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a city development environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role:
As part of its improvement journey, the Council is undertaking a programme of transformation across City Development functions including Planning, Highways, Investment and Development. This role will support delivery of various improvement projects.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Supporting the programme of improvement across City Development
Managing specific improvement projects including organisational design, staff development, and business planning
Coordinating stakeholders, timelines, and reporting across a range of workstreams
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
Proven experience in project management within the public sector
Strong background in organisational change and service improvementThe below skills would be beneficial for the role:
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Knowledge of local authority procedures and governance
Experience with planning and development-related services
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £528 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £399 per hour PAYE).
