About Us
Priory Hospital Arnold is a purpose built 52 bedded acute mental health hospital, comprising of two adult acute wards and 2 Psychiatric Intensive Care Units. Our main focus is on patient experience right from the point of referral through to discharge and follow on support. We provide services for local NHS patients and out of area patients from the NHS. We are a warm, welcoming and friendly team who all share the same goal- we are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for the people who use our service.
Main Duties of the Job
We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills to join our existing dynamic multidisciplinary teams. The role involves:
1. Conducting holistic OT assessments and interventions to support planning and delivery of patient care.
2. Providing clinical supervision of Occupational Therapy support staff, ensuring safe working practices.
3. Liaising with a range of agencies and services.
4. Linking into the wider Priory OT network for high quality service provision and opportunities for support and Continual Professional Development.
5. Providing Occupational Therapy student placements in accordance with local agreements and standards.
