We currently have several opportunities for experienced heavy plant operators to join our energy team. The successful candidate may work on various sites, across this project, assisting our skilled teams, and contributing to the successful completion of our projects.
The Nitty-Gritty
As a Plant operator, you'll be working within our energy division where you will be part of a large network of skilled specialists in this sector, gaining valuable skills to help propel your career at Murphy, supporting them in safely delivering one of our prestigious energy projects.
Your day to day will include:
Operate heavy plant machinery efficiently & safely.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Conduct routine inspections of your equipment and report any issues.
Carry out activities in alignment with project specifications and deadlines.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to achieve project objectives.
What we need from you:.
Relevant tickets to carry out the role.
Cscs
CPCS/Npors
National Grid Substation ticket
Proven experience as a heavy plant operator in energy / substation projects
Proficient operation of relevant heavy machinery and equipment.
Solid understanding of safety protocols and best practice.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
UK driving licence.
