Transport Clerk Job Opportunity in Swindon
Our highly respected client in Swindon is looking for a Transport Clerk to start immediately on an ongoing basis.
Duties
* Driver briefing/debriefing at start and end of shifts
* Setting up driver packs
* Populating TMS system and Excel spreadsheets
* Answering calls daily and passing on messages to relevant teams
* General day-to-day tasks of a transport clerk
Requirements
* Candidate must be PC literate, especially with Excel
* Willingness to go the extra mile and assist during busy periods
* Transport office experience is preferred but not required
Hours of Work
15:00 to 00:00, with flexibility during busier periods to support night shifts (23:00 to 07:30, Monday to Friday).
Additional Details
This role involves briefing/debriefing drivers, organizing route packs, and performing general admin duties. It is an ongoing position with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate. Training and development opportunities are available.
