Raeburn Drilling & Geotechnical Ltd, part of the Igne group of companies, are seeking to appoint an Assistant Driller. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and progressive geotechnical contractor based out of either of their Scottish operations: Hamiton, Glasgow or Aberdeen. Working alongside an experienced Lead Driller, you will be required to: Assist with the safe set up and operation of a variety of drilling rigs for site investigation boreholes Carry out instructions as directed by engineers and Lead Drillers. Support with general maintenance of the drilling rigs, equipment and vehicles that are provided for your use Assist with minor or basic maintenance and repairs as needed Understand and work to regulatory and company standards of health, safety, environment and quality Comply with all company policies, industry regulations and specifications Maintain good communication with colleagues and clients Work in a tidy and professional manner; be self-sufficient and reliable Use initiative and experience to overcome challenges on site Maintain a full UK driving license, including towing license Complete training and assessments as per company requirements About you: This is a role where full training will be provided so we are really looking for someone that has a full UK driving licence with the right attitude, comfortable working outdoors in all weathers and willing to be away from home.
