TS12 Skelton Area - Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Vision for Education is seeking an experienced and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a strong background in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The role involves working across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), supporting a variety of children with specific SEN needs in a welcoming, inclusive school.
This role is available on a full-time basis, for 5 days per week, starting in January 2025, with the potential to become permanent depending on the schools individual requirements.
It will be working within a group environment, among children with a range of SEND needs and also will be working alongside other TA members.

* Experience working in an SEN role, particularly with KS1 and KS2 children.
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
* A compassionate and adaptable approach to working with children with diverse needs.
* Ability to support and engage small groups and individuals in their learning and development.
* A team player who works well alongside other staff to create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing tailored support to children with SEN in both individual and group settings.
* Assisting the class teacher with lesson planning and classroom management.
* Helping children achieve their learning goals and overcome educational challenges.
* Working collaboratively with a supportive team in a highly rewarding role.
