Bid Manager - Water
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus full lifestyle package
Are you a strategic and results-driven Bid Manager with a passion for the water industry? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team and lead the development of winning bids for water infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the water sector.
2. Develop and manage bid strategies, including proposal development, pricing, and risk assessment.
3. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposals accurately reflect project requirements and capabilities.
4. Negotiate contracts with clients to secure favorable terms and conditions.
5. Monitor and evaluate bid performance to identify areas for improvement.
6. Maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in bid management within the water industry.
3. Strong understanding of the construction and procurement processes.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
5. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office and project management tools.
