(fe9) Are you a fit, kind caring individual, looking to make a difference to a young man's life.
We are a small team that work as Personal Assistants for a young disabled man who lives in his own home he shares with his Mum and his dogs, so a love of animals is a must.
The young man is looking for fun loving individuals to help him with his day-to-day living. Being a blind wheelchair user can have it's drawbacks, but this doesn't stop him from enjoying a fun and fulfilling life, enjoying holidays in the UK and abroad. Day's out on the train to various town's and cities. Various Concerts and music events.
The roll includes help with his Personal care, administration of medication via a PEG (full training provided) help with meal preparation, domestic chores and driving the young man's mobility vehicle and accessing facilities and activities in the community, so a full UK driving licence is a must.
No experience is necessary, but a caring fun loving nature and a willingness to learn are more important. You must be outgoing, fun and enjoy new places and experiences with the young man but not compromise his independence.
If this sounds like you! Please apply in writing with a covering letter explaining a little about yourself.
Support is 24/7, day and night shifts available.
