The Network & Solutions Architect should be an experienced practitioner who provides deep domain expertise and is able to demonstrate expertise and experience in technology to lead the next generation of IP based broadcast playout, make the best of 5G and transform our data network. 5. In addition to the network's domain, the successful candidate will also use architectural expertise across a wide range of technology teams within ITV.
6. Provide architectural support for the Network team and wider technology organisation within ITV, providing high and low level designs and overseeing projects and implementations.
7. Perform analysis and problem solving, especially in the areas of complex systems, in order to help the technology teams make tactical and strategic fixes and improvements.
8. Ensure alignment of solutions with ITV’s architectural principles. Review designs and changes made by technology teams and suppliers. Ensure solutions are presented to the TDA where appropriate and also take part in the TDA when appropriate.
