The Role
Construction site logistics involves planning, coordinating, and managing resources, transport, materials, equipment, and personnel on our construction sites to ensure safety and adherence to deadlines. This is a busy role with ever-changing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
· Working in a team environment to arrange site requirements including preparation and delivery of our plant, hiring additional plant, and arranging site personnel ensuring that the company remains compliant.
· Liaising with site managers and supervisors to ensure that the correct plant, staff and materials are onsite
· Liaise with the workshop manager as to the plant requirements to allow sufficient time for maintenance and routine servicing
· Working together with others in the team to ensure compliance with the operators, plant, and vehicles.
· Attend regular meetings with the Operations Director and other key members of the company
· Update daily planners with site changes, liaising with site members of any changes
· Plan Transport deliveries with the logistics assistant.
· Ensure sites are ready to commence on their start date
· Learning and using the health and safety program Iprotectu and other IT systems in use

Qualifications
Experience within the construction industry.
People management skills.
Experienced with logistics.
Transport Manager License desirable – but training could be given.
Practical hands-on approach with good communication, organisational, planning, and time management skills.
