Power Press Setter, Evesham, £13-14 per hour My client is an established manufacturing company producing a wide range of products and components for varying different industries. They are looking for an experienced Press Setter to join their team. Working within their busy press shop, you will: - Set up and operate coil, strip, and blank feed mechanical presses. Set tooling and coil feeders completing as per engineering drawings. Change over coils and feed into tools. Inspection of the product from appropriate drawings. Work according to the production plan. Able to load and amend machine settings and make tool changes as required to our busy schedules. Complete 1st off and last off sampling to ISO 9001:2015 Quality management system requirements ensuring that drawing specifications have been met in full. Liaise closely with our machine operators to ensure they understand and comply with the companys Health & Safety, Quality and Production requirements each time they are producing our customers components. Requirements: - Experienced/fully conversant in Setting tooling into Power presses including HMEs, Arbogas, Blisss, Aidas and Rhodes ranging from 10T through to 500T capacity. Experience in mechanical or engineering practices in a similar environment is highly preferred. Must possess your own Power Press Certificate (RoSPA). Must be able to work under own initiative, be organised and be easy to train. Good listening and communication skills are essential. Counterbalance Forklift License desirable but not essential as in-house training can be provided. To be successful in the role, you may be working /or/ have worked as a Tool Setter, Machine Setter, or Setter/Operator on Power presses. Hours; 4 day working week, 39 hours (Monday to Thursday 7.00am to 17.15pm). Salary £13-14 per hour, depends on experience.
