Bell Publishing is looking for an experienced Advertising Sales Manager to manage one of our international industry-leading B2B titles, magazine, and website.
The client base is global, so a confident and excellent telephone manner is essential. This is an exciting position with the opportunity to travel overseas to attend exhibitions and visit customers.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of 3+ years experience in cross-platform media sales. You will be able to manage an already-established client base while also sourcing new customers, and will sell directly to clients as well as agencies, both face to face and over the phone. You will also have good knowledge of digital advertising.
Working to monthly targets, this position is perfect for a professional sales person looking to ply their skills within an exciting industry. Salary is enhanced with an attractive monthly commission structure across our print and digital media platforms.
We are based in Gravesend town centre with easy access by road and train (high-speed link serving Medway Towns and London).
Background and skills:
* 2-3 years multi-platform media sales experience, ideally within an international B2B environment.
* Confident, outgoing approach with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and ability to connect with people at all levels.
* Attention to detail and superb organisational skills.
* Good understanding of B2B events.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Experience of digital flatplans and the production flow.
* Work on international brands is preferred but not essential.
Key responsibilities:
* Revenue growth through advertising sales on print and digital platforms
* Work alongside the editorial, events, and production teams to develop an integrated strategy to maximise sales.
* Travel to trade events to meet face to face with current and existing clients and grow the brand's profile.
* Develop wider commercial partnerships across all platforms.
* Develop new media packages, based on individual client needs.
* Manage the CRM accurately and use it to improve efficiency.
* Review and monitor competitor activity.
Qualifications

* Experience in advertising sales or related field
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
