We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our busy Finance Department in Troon, Ayrshire.
THE ROLE
Credit Control is a critical part of a well-managed business, you’ll ensure that revenue and credit owed to the Company is paid in a timely and accurate manner. You’ll assess and manage the business credit risk by ensuring new customers are thoroughly vetted.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Work alongside the finance team assisting with queries and the collection of outstanding debts
* Ensure all outstanding accounts are chased appropriately
* Produce and complete weekly credit control reports
* Maintain precise business records in accordance with company protocols
* Accurately update all internal systems
* Creating or supporting the creation of daily/weekly/monthly reports
* Any other ad hoc duties that may be required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
* Experience using Sage accounts package (or similar)
* Good working knowledge of Excel
* Excellent attention to detail
* Numerically sound
* Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
* Ability to build and maintain good working relationships
* Great team player
