2nd Line IT Support Engineer
East Surrey. Hybrid working after completion of probation.
£30 - 35k with benefits such as annual bonus, private health, enhanced pension + more.
This role is working directly for a telecoms service provider & MSP, and they are in a continued stage of growth. They are well funded and constantly winning new contracts with both the private and public sector.
These are an exciting company with 250+ headcount and offices all over the world. They work across both public and private sectors, supplying connectivity, communication, and managed IT solutions to a range of organisations within the maritime, defence, and commercial sectors.
You’ll be joining the systems management team of 4, all customer-facing engineers, who provide hands-on technical support, administration, and management of the customer-managed IT. This role will have a bias towards resolving escalations from more junior team members. There will be a chance to help out on project work as and when required in this role too.
Your Background
We’re looking for a strong Microsoft bias engineer who has worked 1st or 2nd line within an MSP. With this role being customer-facing, this will suit someone that has a service provider background.
An ideal general background will include strong all-round general IT skills: Windows Desktop and Server, Networking, 365 technologies, WiFi, Data, and Voice Communications, etc., which is a given if you’ve worked within an MSP.
The office is based in East Surrey, so you’ll have to live within a commutable distance from there.
