Production Operative Pay Rate: Starting at £14.53 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, rotating shifts (6:30 or 7:30 AM start for mornings, 1:30 or 2:30 PM start for afternoons, Monday to Friday)
Robinsons Brewery is seeking a Production Operative to join our team at The Unicorn Packaging Centre in Bredbury, with occasional shifts at our Stockport Brewery. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of our beer and soft drinks throughout receipt, processing, and packaging.
Role Purpose
As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality products to our packaging lines. Your responsibilities will include ensuring operational efficiency, supporting the training and development of fellow operators, and achieving key performance targets.
You will work on a rotating shift pattern, Monday to Friday, covering both mornings and afternoons. Bank Holidays are considered part of normal working hours, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate plant equipment to maintain high safety, quality, and productivity standards.
* Identify and resolve faults efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of production activities.
* Train and support colleagues to improve overall team performance.
* Lead and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
* Uphold expected behaviours and work standards.
* Update Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Risk Assessments as needed.
* Conduct quality assurance sampling, testing, and recording of results.

* Previous experience in liquid processing/packaging, preferably in the food and drinks industry.
