About the School
Due to the continued success and ongoing expansion of LIPA School, we are looking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher for Behaviour (4-16) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. LIPA School’s ethos and the approach to education it has inspired has proved to be both highly successful and popular. About the Role
The Assistant Headteacher, guided by the Head Teacher, will play a significant role in shaping and assessing behavioural policies and practices within the school community. This involves staying updated on current trends in behaviour management and adjusting the school's approach accordingly. They will focus on enhancing the quality of teaching and learning through effective behaviour management to cater to the needs of all students, especially those with special educational needs and other vulnerable individuals. This includes providing continuous professional development opportunities for both teaching and support staff and ensuring that the support provided yields positive outcomes.
Personal Qualities
The ideal candidate must have QTS Status and experience of managing and leading behaviour provision and teaching experience, ideally in a secondary and primary setting.
