As a key member of the Investment Finance team, which sits in Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will report into the Senior Finance Manager responsible for IT, Data & Change (ITD&C) and E-Commerce. The team’s key objective is business partnering with the ITD&C function (including the easyJet Airline change portfolio) as well as the E-Commerce team.
This role will support the IT Leadership Team (ITDLT) and IT function, offering exposure to senior stakeholders and covering a large, complicated, and varied function where there is scope to provide strategic insight and true value add. The Finance Manager will need to work closely with senior members of non-finance teams to support the delivery of multiple priorities and collaborate with the wider Finance team to provide input to monthly management reporting, regular reforecasting, and quarterly external reporting regarding the ITD&C finances.
JOB PURPOSE
1. Provide effective analytical support to the Senior Finance Manager ITD&C.
2. Create certainty and confidence in numbers delivered to both Finance and the IT Function.
3. Provide insight on key cost drivers, working with the function with a continuous focus on cost control.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Business Partnering / FP&A
1. Provide a true business partner framework to the ITD&C function, ensuring that business owners are supported with the right insight and information at all times.
2. Accurately forecast future performance (monthly PBT and annual planning processes), understand differences between actuals and forecasts, undertake related analysis, ensure that risks and opportunities for each function are owned and managed, and drive continuous improvements in the forecasting process.
3. Understand the detail within each cost centre, aware of movements in actuals and forecasts compared to budget and latest forecast, including tracking risks and opportunities.
4. Maintain a continuous focus on cost, FinOps, and other opportunities to achieve the 5-year strategic plan spend target.
5. Business partner IT projects, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, with regular updates on benefit forecasts.
6. Be responsible for the end-to-end project forecasting and reporting process, ensuring periodic forecast updates are obtained from Project Managers.
People Leadership, Relationships and Influence
1. Co-ordinate inputs from cost centre owners across the function and manage them to ensure deadlines are adhered to.
2. Maintain effective cross-functional relationships.
3. Provide subject matter expertise to a diverse and demanding set of stakeholders.
4. Identify opportunities that could be reviewed as part of a deep dive process.
5. Work with and mentor junior members of the team.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS & FINANCIAL TARGETS
1. Deliver monthly reporting and underlying processes within deadlines.
2. Consolidate month-end budget variance analysis accurately with clear summary explanations.
3. Deliver key insight on IT costs for AMB/PLC reporting.
4. Prepare and lead on the 5-year strategic plan and Budget for ITD&C.
5. Support the delivery of cost initiatives for the ITD&C function.
6. Deliver key outputs on ad hoc projects as required by Senior Finance Manager.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week.
