Project Controls position - UK wide mostly remote
The opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Project Controls professional to join a boutique consultancy working on high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK. With a wealth of construction and advisory experience across major infrastructure, the firm is looking to grow in the Project Controls space and is keen to find ambitious, experienced Project Controls professionals interested in the autonomy and development offered at a smaller firm.
They currently boast a vast range of work within the rail sector and are looking for someone with previous experience of working in a Project Controls capacity on major rail projects with prior knowledge of NEC 4.
Although the firm has its roots in the Midlands and would expect people to attend the occasional meeting, this position is predominantly remote.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work in a Project Controls capacity on a large, national rail project ideally for a leading construction advisory consultancy or engineering practice.
2. Lead the controls' function, monitoring for accuracy and keeping the consistency of plans in safety, cost, and performance reporting.
3. Establish and maintain project controls processes in compliance with rail standards and within the confines of NEC.
4. Demonstrate skilled oral and written communications.
5. Be competent and familiar with a range of applications including Microsoft Office, Primavera P6, and have sound contractual knowledge of NEC contract, procurement, and construction setups.
6. Have a proven track record working in a consulting environment engaging with senior stakeholders.
As a smaller practice, they can offer competitive packages and fantastic progression outside of the confines of larger organizations.
