Warehouse Supervisor JOB PURPOSE: Control incoming and outgoing materials and goods. Manage the day-to-day storage of materials and goods on site at Jess Fine Foods. Make sure that all customers order is met and palletised as per company specifications. DIMENSIONS: Ensure that stock and order systems are properly operated in accordance with Jess Fine Foods requirements. Ensure effective stock rotation is maintained. Weekly stock counts for Management profit and loss. Work closely with the Management team ensuring effective communication. Report any problems that may affect the storage of materials/finished goods and packaging. PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: The job holder will ensure that employees comply with Company Regulation, about Personal Hygiene, Food Safety and Health and safety. Ensuring that Protective clothing is properly worn, that personal hygiene standards are maintained as stated in the company hygiene policy, and that no jewellery is worn as per their Terms and Conditions. Ensure all materials/goods are received in accordance with Jess Fine Foods procedures. Ensure all GRN coding and documentation is always maintained as directed by Company procedures. The jobholder will ensure that all staff receive relevant training for their job. Effectively communicate with other department heads and staff as required. The jobholder will be responsible for waste minimisation within all areas under their control. Ensure equipment and the work areas under the jobholder’s control are safe, clean, and fit for the storage of finished goods, raw materials, and packaging. Ensure customer orders are packed in accordance with their requirements. Conduct yourself in a responsible and safe manner, ensuring safe working practices of all personnel working under your supervision and in accordance with Company Health & Safety rules. Produce accurate stock control figures for production planning. The jobholder will undertake other duties as directed by Management in accordance with the needs of the business. As part of the management team the jobholder will be responsible for creating a positive atmosphere in the area under their control and contributing to the promotion of job satisfaction. This role will include management of a team of 3 staff members. Holidays: 28 days Dayshift Monday to Friday.
