Hours: Full time - 37.5 hours per week (8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday)
Salary: £37,338 - £44,962 plus RSU allowance of £1,446 per annum | pro rata & £3,500 bonus

Job Overview
We're recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist at Marlborough House in Milton Keynes, a 28-bedded male medium secure forensic unit. You'll provide evidence-based, client-centred interventions, manage a varied caseload, and lead junior staff. You'll also play a key role in a multidisciplinary team, shaping service development while supporting recovery-focused care.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a varied and, at times, complex case load.
* Provide occupational therapy that is evidence-based and follows client-centred principles.
* Provide leadership for junior/non-registered staff as appropriate to the post.
* Participate in the planning, development and evaluation of the Occupational Therapy service.
* Participate effectively as a full member of the multi-disciplinary team.
* Contribute to the maintenance and development of the trust-wide Occupational Therapy service.
* Actively participate in the education of occupational therapy students.
* Pro-actively engage in teaching/presentations of specialist skills.
Qualifications:
* Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
* Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience:
* Experience of working in mental health, as an Occupational Therapist preferably within a range of settings, including forensics.
* Extensive clinical experience including individual and group work.
Skills:
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Supervisory skills and/or appraisal skills.
This role is eligible for an incentive scheme of £3,500 and includes an RSU allowance of £1,446 per annum on top of your salary. Please note if you are based outside of the UK you will need to hold HCPC registration in order to be considered for this role.
