Job summary
To be part of a team providing front line delivery of maintenance, defect and Breakdown response, and pre-planned maintenance tasks to contribute to the delivery of effective, efficient and economical day to day maintenance, new and alteration works to ensure the safety of patients, staff and members of the public.
This role offers a Recruitment and Retention Payment of £3500 per year.
Main duties of the job
To complete new and alteration works to comply with BS7671 both during and out with normal hours.
Undertaking maintenance, repairs, minor improvement, and capital work across the Trust as directed by management, ensuring compliance with Trust safety standards and procedures. An element of multi skilling across Estates trades will be required.
To undertake risk assessments as required for work in hazardous areas taking account of all safety measures to prevent danger, avoid injury and prevent damage to equipment.

1. Completed time served Recognised apprenticeship
2. Completion of a structured training program in electrical engineering
3. A high degree of accuracy required during test procedures with the ability to ensure attention to detail when compiling verbal and written reports
