They are currently seeking a passionate and committed Level 1:2 SEN Teaching Assistant (Support Workers) to join their vibrant team.
Your Role
As a Support Worker, you will be instrumental in supporting the academic and personal growth of the students. Your role involves:
* Providing essential support for students learning and well:being.
* Encouraging independence and personal development.
* Assisting with care needs and promoting positive behaviour.
* Working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored, high:quality educational experiences.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in Learning: Help plan and evaluate educational activities.
* Monitor Progress: Track and report on students progress.
* Support Positive Behaviour: Implement strategies to maintain focus and good behaviour.
* Promote Development: Foster cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth through a holistic approach.
* Adaptability: Be flexible and ready to assist in the dynamic SEN environment.
What theyre Looking For
* Experience: Prior experience in an SEN role (employed or voluntary).
* Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English Level 2/C or above (essential); Level 2 or higher qualification in Support Work for Teaching and Learning in Schools (desirable).
* Skills: Knowledge of Safeguarding and Child Protection, creativity, positivity, and a child:first approach.
* Driving License: Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential for student carpooling).
