WHAT DOES THIS ROLE DO?
Pentland Brands is seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Planner to join our Global Supply Planning team in Sunderland. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a global organisation known for its innovative approach and commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating sourcing activities, ensuring seamless supply chain operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
As a Supply Planner, you will be responsible for:
* Coordinating capacity and material bookings with vendors.
* Managing the monthly buying cycle to align with business needs.
* Developing global buy plans and effectively communicating with regional merchandising teams.
* Handling direct delivery and distribution centre purchase orders within our SAP & Nexus systems.
* Monitoring production plans with our global vendor base to ensure adherence to business requirements and timelines.
* Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships to foster collaboration and efficiency.
* Supporting the onboarding process for new vendors and providing guidance on Pentland processes and expectations.
* Generating and analysing key performance indicator (KPI) reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
* Coordinating with relevant teams to monitor critical path activities and proactively address potential delays.
* Identifying and managing non-conformances against agreed processes, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

* Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain planning.
* A strong understanding of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
* Proficiency in SAP and other relevant supply chain management systems.

* An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive informed decision-making.
* A proactive attitude, with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
* The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
