The Role – Residential Product Manager Our marketing teams deliver innovative marketing initiatives and campaigns that develop our brand presence in the ventilation marketplace in the UK, overseas and with our employees. Through marketing intelligence, we help the business to understand the market better than any of our competitors. How we gather this market intelligence is key to ensure we have a bird’s eye view of the marketplace, invest in the right projects, and drive operational efficiency, dependant on having strongly aligned product management, marketing, sales, NPD, and purchasing with a robust strategy. Reporting into the Strategic Marketing Director, this Product Management role will operate within the residential, ventilation sector of the HVAC industry. Working hours: 37 per week. Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4:30pm. Working style: office based, with hybrid working one day per week available. Responsibilities Residential Product Manager to be the central hub and source of truth within the company for critical information about our products, market, competitors, customers, prospects, fundamental industry analysts, tech know-how for the residential sector, with a focus on RMI. Employ different survey techniques and conduct extensive market research to gather, analyse, interpret and validate data from different sources. Understand pain points of target audience or identify gaps in market, identifying unique product features to create a positive customer experience Create the business case in accordance with the Product Development Process, owner of the creation and tracking of the NPI timeline for new products or adaptions to existing. Relationship building and customer voice of requirements, interacting with a broad range of departments, translating the input and data gathered to build a product roadmap. Align the long-term vision and strategy for the company’s products. Continuously use resources to look for opportunities and future innovation for our product ranges, following adapting market trends, balancing external sales and customer requirements. Work with Product Marketing Manager to clearly articulate the features and benefits messaging for MARCOMMS. Product Lifecycle Management Product Spokesperson with customers and events. Be a ruthless prioritiser while balancing the needs of customers and stakeholders. Confidence to present a compelling explanation backed by real data to make decisions and to get buy-in. Ability to collaborate across teams and work with people of varying backgrounds. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, sharing knowledge of products and industry, translating vocabulary into language understood across disciplines and people of varying backgrounds. Competent end to end project co-ordinator.
