About the role:
* This teaching assistant role is to support as a general teaching assistant in a good two-form entry primary school located in the heart of a vibrant and thriving community.
* The role is to start as soon as possible and on a long-term basis with temp to perm in place from the get-go.
* This is to work Monday to Friday; each week and the hours will be 8 am until 3:30 pm with a 30-minute dinner break.
* As a teaching assistant, you will support the teacher in the delivery of the Curriculum to pupils, working in partnership with parents, teachers, and the school to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make excellent progress.
* As a teaching assistant, you will plan and lead one-to-one teaching and interventions with children.
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will
* Have experience working within the early years either in a school setting, private nursery setting or any other similar setting.
* Have a sound knowledge of the early years curriculum and be able to provide two work/education-based references, one from your most recent place of employment covering a 3-year period.
* Have a Level 3 Relevant qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Have well-developed interpersonal skills: the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to a range of audiences.
* Be able to plan, organise and prioritise.
* Be able to manage good communication systems.
Requirements
* You will be required to go through our quick and easy vetting process and have 24/7 support from a dedicated consultant.
* Need a clear enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the online update service.
* You will need to be able to provide two references over a 3-year period, one of which is from your most recent place of employment.
* Relevant experience and the ability to create a happy, challenging, and effective learning environment.
* To have a helpful, positive, calm, and caring nature.
