Applications Specialist – Chromatography
Salary: £38k - £40k

With exclusive partnerships with some of the most well-known OEM’s as well as valued clients consisting of multinational pharmaceutical companies across the UK and Europe, this would be a great opportunity for an applications engineer to be in a senior position with broad responsibilities and further OEM training.
In this Applications Engineer position, an engineer can expect:
* Management of the lab including ordering consumables & maintaining in-house equipment.
* Identify new opportunities & develop applications of their current portfolio of analytical instruments.
* Developing applications for their customers, solving challenges and proposing solutions.
* Perform hardware and software demonstrations.
* Support field engineers with installations and train customers.
* Remote customer support.
* Contribute to the sales process by performing presentations and presenting applications.
A suitable candidate for this opportunity would need:
* A degree in chemistry or similar scientific field.
* Strong methodical ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently.
* Good communication skills.
* Experience developing methods and applications for Liquid and Gas chromatography (LC, GC).
* Sample preparation experience.
* Experience with industry regulations such as GLP.
* Unrestricted UK right to work and full driving license.
