What skills and experience we're looking for
Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School is seeking to appoint an outstanding subject leader of physics. We welcome applications from talented individuals who will be dedicated to both the implementation of the school’s vision and the development of our physics department.
This role requires someone with the passion and subject expertise to develop and promote physics inside and outside of the classroom. They may either currently be leading a physics department or ambitious to develop their career further and lead one for the first time. The successful candidate must be an outstanding teacher, passionate about the importance of all areas of physics, and in possession of a strong understanding of pedagogy and curriculum design. They will have experience of teaching from KS3 to A Level, a record of achieving outstanding results and of commitment to, and delivery of, a high quality super-curricular offer.
