You will own a portfolio of SME customers, helping those customers to get the most out of our wide range of products and services which includes Group Risk, Group Healthcare, Pension, Flexible/Voluntary Benefits, Rewards & Recognition and Wellbeing. This role is central to the continued growth and success of the department. You will be responsible for working with SME customers post-sales to advise on the best solution for them, oversee implementation, look for opportunities to add value through our other products and services (upsell), and proactively manage renewal processes. Responsibilities/Role Overview Provide Group Risk and Healthcare consultancy services to small to medium sized portfolios where you will build detailed relationships with each of customer. There may be a requirement to provide basic Pension consultancy if necessary. Managing, retaining, and growing customers across both Group Risk and Healthcare benefits. Contributing to profitable revenue growth. Efficiently securing pre renewal calls, completing renewals/underwriting, advising on relevant product knowledge and benchmarking benefits as appropriate in market reviews. Be the point of contact for all employer/employee queries to include the completion of any claims if necessary. Implement a customer’s online benefits platform effectively and efficiently with pre-launch meetings, presentations, and following through until go live. Then providing the customer with sufficient after care to include calls, monthly reports and renewals where needed. Ensure timely delivery of agreed services to the customer in line with our service level agreements. To work closely with own team but also other departments within Benefex to deliver as per customer contracts. To be able to lead high quality demos of our online platform with customers. Keep up to date with industry knowledge and suggest improvements to our processes. To ensure all internal systems are accurate and kept up to date. What are we looking for? Proven experience working in a customer facing / account management role Experience in at least one of the following areas: EAP, Group Risk, Group Healthcare, Pension, Flexible/Voluntary Benefits, Rewards & Recognition or Wellbeing A proven track record of identifying and managing upsell opportunities Evidence of recognising and ensuring delivery of customer service excellence Excellent customer relationship building and stakeholder management skills with ability to build a network of contacts, both internally and externally Ability to work cross functionally across diverse teams, facilitating collaborative working to ensure delivery for customers. Effective communication skills Bonus points for: GR1/ IF7 qualified or the desire to work towards achieving these.
