As a result of the school’s continued expansion, we are excited to be looking for two Cover Supervisors to join the team.
The role of a Cover Supervisor is to supervise whole classes during short-term absence of teachers. You will be required to respond to pupil’s general questions but will not be expected to undertake any planning, preparation, delivery or assessment of pupils’ progress and/or development. You will need to manage the behaviour of the class, in accordance with the School’s behaviour policy.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in front of a classroom and will join a professional, enthusiastic and well-respected team of four.
When there are no lessons requiring cover, Cover Supervisors are expected to use their initiative to support teaching/learning throughout the school by undertaking tasks in various areas of the school, including but are not limited to: lessons/Enrichment Activities, Registration, Library, PHSE Activities, School day trips, and Examination Invigilation.
