Job Title: Assistant Treasurer
Location: Durrington – Hybrid (1 day a week)
Contract Type: 12-month FTC
Hours: 37 hours (but we are open to flexible working requests, including reduced hours)

Job Overview
The Assistant Treasurer will support the Group Treasurer in all areas relating to funding, risk management, debt investor relations and ESG reporting. As the Assistant Treasurer, you'll play a pivotal role in our Treasury team, supporting across all aspects of treasury. Our hybrid working model offers flexibility, with the opportunity to spend one day a week in the office.
1. Support Debt Capital Market activity (across both public and private markets) - negotiation and documentation, compiling investor presentations and managing investor queries.
2. Management of relationships with banks, corporate advisors, auditors and other market professionals.
3. Support bank facility negotiations, monitoring lender covenants, completing associated reporting and ensure general compliance with lender credit agreements.
4. Manage the reporting required under any ESG/sustainability linked debt issuance.
5. Execution of FX, Interest Rate and Inflation Risk management instruments, while also contributing to setting Group strategy on the same.
6. Assist with preparing board management papers.
7. Assisting and on occasion deputising for the Group Treasurer where necessary.
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience of the full “treasury toolkit” as you will get exposure to all facets of treasury in this role. In addition:
8. You will be a qualified AMCT (an accountancy qualification would also be very beneficial)
9. Have strong understanding of and experience in financial markets and securitisation structures ideally in a capex intensive business such as utility/infrastructure/real estate.
10. Have proven ability to work within a business to orchestrate complex workstreams and meet tight deadlines.
11. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills – proven ability to apply these skills to complex financial situations.
12. You will have excellent communication skills, be credible and confident in front of senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
