As a Volunteer Management Support, your role will be crucial in supporting, advising, and empowering volunteer managers across our organisation to deliver a high-quality volunteer experience.
* Supporting Volunteer Managers: Provide specialist support to volunteer managers to ensure high-quality and compliant practices.
* Co-Production and Development: Use co-production to create and deliver volunteer manager development programmes.
* Data & Insight: Use data and insights to contribute to regular reporting on key volunteer management standards and other metrics, helping to identify areas for concern and other trends.
* Volunteer Support Line (VSL): Be part of a rota response for the Volunteer Support Line, offering practical and emotional support to all BRC volunteers. Respond to their questions or concerns about their volunteering tasks, provide a listening ear, and signpost to further help if necessary.
What We’re Looking For:
* Ability to communicate clearly and meet competing demands and deadlines.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in volunteer management or a related field is a plus.
* Passion for the mission of the British Red Cross.
* Proficiency in using volunteer management software and tools.
