We are looking to appoint flexible, adaptable, and dedicated individuals to join our existing team of exam invigilators to assist with the co-ordination and supervision of our internal and public exams. The ideal candidate would have the ability to remain calm under pressure as well as possess excellent organisational and problem solving skills. You must have excellent communication skills, be able to converse at ease with students and communicate in accurate spoken and written English as part of the role may include supporting students entitled to access arrangements as a reader, scribe, language modifier and prompt. The main external examination season runs through May and June, with other exams and assessments held periodically throughout the year from October to July. You must be punctual, have a flexible attitude to work and be able to demonstrate an attention to detail. It is essential that you have good availability throughout May and June for public exams (mornings and afternoons Mon-Fri) to provide continuity for students with access arrangements. The post will be on a casual, ad hoc basis determined by the exam schedule. We are keen to recruit as soon as possible and successful candidates will be required to attend a 2 hour training session.
