I am working with an established Professional Services business based in central Leeds who are looking for a HR Assistant on a fixed-term basis.
The role will report into the HR Business Partner but will support the senior leadership wider team.
This is a fast-paced and very varied role, you will have plenty to do!
Package:
* Full-time, 3-month FTC (potential to be extended and a possibility of becoming permanent)
* Hybrid working, approx 1-2 days a week in the Leeds office
* £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

The role:
* First point of contact for HR & Learning and Development
* Provide admin support across HR, L&D and general office support
* Helping with process changes and improvements
* Manage the employee lifecycle; onboarding, offboarding and changes
* Carry out all pre-employment checks
* Managing and organising DEI and HR calendars
* Sending regular comms and summaries of updates to all employees
* Set up/check compliance training has been carried out
* Various other responsibilities including general office admin tasks
About you:
* You must have HR Admin / HR Assistant experience
* Able to use your initiative, takes the time to do tasks thoroughly and to a high standard
* A good communicator, able to effectively communicate across all seniority levels
* Ability to prioritise workload and most urgent tasks
* Computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with ability to learn new systems quickly
* An understanding of SharePoint would be beneficial but not essential
* Basic understanding of HR processes, ideally with experience of working with a generalist team
* Basic understanding of employment law
* Ideally you will be CIPD level 3 qualified (this is not essential)
