Duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Support pupils with special educational needs in the classroom and during small group or one-to-one sessions.
* Assist in implementing individual learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.
* Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Help manage behaviour positively and encourage pupil engagement.
* Support pupils with personal care and social development where necessary.
Ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
* Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
* Is patient, caring, and adaptable.
* Has experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
* Holds relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate (desirable but not required).
