Production Engineer

The Production Engineer will be required to devise/provide/procure efficient safe manufacturing processes and equipment including quality assurance methods and full documentation to satisfy a highly regulated environment.
The responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):
1. Carry out risk assessments to identify and implement safe working procedures
2. Identify, document and maintain Work Instructions
3. Follow the New Product Process
4. Provide buildings, services, tooling, and equipment in support of the production programme
5. Compile technical reports
6. Identify production improvement opportunities
7. Train production personnel in the use of equipment, tooling and processes
8. Project management of new and improved processes
Production Engineer Specification:
1. Right to live and work in the UK
2. Level 4 HNC or equivalent in an engineering or chemistry related discipline
3. Previously worked in a manufacturing environment
4. Working within multi-functional teams
5. 3D CAD Modelling experience
6. IT Skills
7. Risk Assessment knowledge
8. Report writing/presentation skills
9. Experience of working with BOM and Production Routings
This role will be worked over a 4.5 day week; Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:45 and Friday 08:00 – 12:30. Flexibility in this role is critical to the success of supporting the team.
