Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall Hotel Management:
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
- Implement strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.
2. Revenue Management:
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to optimize pricing and revenue strategies.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
3. Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team across all departments.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
4. Guest Satisfaction:
- Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service and prompt issue resolution.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.
5. Stakeholder Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, partners, and stakeholders.
- Represent the hotel in the local community and industry events.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a General Manager in a 150+ bedroom hotel
- Strong knowledge of the Glasgow market and hotel industry
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to drive revenue growth and profitability
- Strong focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence
