We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic One-to-One Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community in Blackpool. Our positions start as early as the summer term or SEPTEMBER 2025 depending on your availability. Due to demand from schools we have both full and part time (term time) roles available. These roles are across 35 schools on the Fylde coast so we welcome applicants from Lytham, St Anne's, Blackpool, Thornton and FleetwoodThis rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on the lives of individual children with a diverse range of needs, including: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Dyslexia Dyspraxia Cerebral Palsy Global Learning Delay (GLD) Social, Emotional and Learning (SEL) needs As a One-to-One Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide tailored support to individual pupils, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment, adapting your approach to meet each child's unique strengths and challenges. Support the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of the child, promoting independence and confidence. Assist with personal care needs where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times. Contribute to the overall well-being and inclusion of the child within the classroom and wider school environment. Communicate effectively with teachers, parents/carers, and other professionals involved in the child's support. Utilise a variety of strategies and resources to engage and motivate learners.
