Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a leading manufacturer of aerospace components based in Derbyshire who have been established for 30 years. They are renowned for machining, assembly, inspection, fabrication and sheet metal.
Manufacturing parts for precision aerospace companies, you will become part of a well-respected company within the UK. The position will be based at the site in Central Derby. Our client currently employs over 200 people at the site, and we are now looking to add contract support to the workforce to assist with the growth of the business.
Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks (Disclosure & Barring Service) may be required. Please also note at this time we do not offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Apprentice trained or time served machinists
2. CNC milling specifically on Starrag machines
3. Capable of setting up, operating, and editing 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling machines
4. Software knowledge: Fanuc
5. Able to self-inspect own parts
6. Can work with aerospace grade aluminium
7. Can confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Qualifications and Skills:
An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable.
