Job Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Bearsden, Dunbartonshire. Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse Location: Bearsden, Dunbartonshire Working Hours: Ideally, we are looking for someone to take on a full-time permanent role, working 38 hours per week over 5 days, with the option to condense these hours over 4 days if preferred. The shifts will be varied between 8:30am-7:00pm Monday-Friday. You will be included in a share of 1 in 3 weekends (Saturday) and no out of hours. We are also open to part time candidates looking to work around their lifestyle. Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE Key Responsibilities: Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a variety of animals. Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries. Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients. Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness. Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress. Qualifications and Skills Required: Veterinary degree from a recognized institution. Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
