Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager at Transalis. The role involves developing and implementing growth strategies, building and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to drive sales and revenue. The aim is to secure new logo revenue, and up-sell ARR based products and services from existing customers to meet agreed targets. While the role is based in Portsmouth, there is flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
* Business Development, Sales, and Account Management skills
* Strong negotiation and communication skills
* Experience in developing growth strategies and identifying market trends
* Knowledge of supply chain management or B2B technology solutions
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office
* Certifications in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or relevant field
Key accountabilities:
* Generate sales revenue in line with agreed targets
* Meet KPI’s for meetings and opportunities identified in line with agreed targets
* Plan and execute Account Plans to retain and upsell ring-fenced customers
* Respond to incoming leads
* Generate additional leads from researched companies
* Provide accurate weekly & quarterly sales forecasts
Secondary accountabilities:
* Participate in weekly sales meetings
* Accurate and proactive management of sales pipeline
* Support the Sales and Marketing Director with ad-hoc projects
