Our client is a leading manufacturer in a highly regulated industry, known for delivering exceptional quality and compliance across all aspects of their operations. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team in Wakefield. This opportunity is ideal for an individual who has progressed from a process engineering background into project management and has a strong track record in managing capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage capital expenditure projects from initiation to completion across manufacturing and facilities.
* Take full ownership of project scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation, ensuring all deliverables meet quality and regulatory standards.
* Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, risk assessments, and change management processes.
* Ensure the successful execution of large-scale engineering and manufacturing projects in compliance with industry regulations and company guidelines.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, production, quality, etc.) to align project goals and ensure successful delivery.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters, providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
* Ensure that all projects adhere to health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards throughout execution.
Key Requirements:
* A minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing complex projects in a manufacturing environment, leading them from initiation to completion.
* A background that demonstrates progression from process engineering into project management is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in managing CAPEX projects, with a focus on capital investment and asset management.
* Experience working in highly regulated industries.
* Strong leadership capabilities with a demonstrated ability to manage projects and stakeholders effectively.
* A degree in Engineering is preferred.
* Excellent project management skills, including risk management, scheduling, budgeting, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
