Job Purpose :
There has never been a more opportune time to join our team at Ulster University and, more specifically, our Organisation Design and Change Team.
The Career Pathways Framework Partner is a crucial role within our Organisation Design and Change team and the wider university as the role will specifically be focused with organising the design and implementation of a professional services framework to allow non-academic staff to understand the opportunities available to them within the University and identify their potential development steps in a co-ordinated way.
Areas of focus will include:
* Lead on the design and delivery of a career pathways framework;
* Provide specialist career pathways and development expertise;
* Take ownership on the specification, build, and implementation work for career pathways;
* Work with key stakeholders to agree the scope of the career pathways work;
* Ensure career pathways compliments performance and career development work;
* Take ownership on the identification and collection of existing career pathways data;
* Lead on the development of future career pathways frameworks;
* Design and oversee appropriate governance mechanisms;
* Ensure career pathways design meets the needs of the University and its staff;
* Identify and adopt appropriate leading practice and innovation in the area of career pathways;
* Make a significant contribution to the growth of the Organisation Design and Change function; and
* Contribute to the delivery of the wider People and Culture operational plan.
