Offering a four-day working week and a fantastic working environment, we are looking for experienced machinists whose responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
1. Set up and operate CNC machines.
2. Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
3. Select tools, materials, and machine settings for optimal performance.
4. Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and precision.
5. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
6. Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency.
7. Maintain a safe and organised work environment.
Salary & Benefits
1. Pay based on experience:
* Machine Operator: £12.60 - £14 per hour
* Machinist: £14 - £17 per hour
* Senior Machinist: £17 - £19.50 per hour
1. Hours: 4-day workweek (10-hour shifts, 30-minute lunch break)
2. Holidays: 30 days (including bank holidays)
3. Pension: 5% employer contribution
4. Overtime available on Fridays
