Our team are looking for an experienced Breast Care Nurse to work within the screening and symptomatic service. Currently working as a Band 6 or above, with surgical and oncology experience. We are looking for an individual with a keen interest in Family History, and has the relevant experience or willingness to work towards gaining this knowledge. Main duties of the job Provides a specialist, continuing, supportive Breast Care Service within the hospital and community setting, offering optimum healthcare to patients, their families and carers. Manages and organises own case load. To work within the breast screening setting, and family history service. Arm lymphoedema assessment. Provides specialist breast care education, training and imparts sensitive information for patients, their carers and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that patient confidentially is maintained.
