Antrim House Dental Practice is seeking a Full Time Trainee Dental Nurse.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being and an attitude to learn, grow, and develop, we want to hear from you.
At Antrim House, you will have the resources and support you need to help you succeed in becoming a fully qualified Dental Nurse.
We are a friendly mixed NHS/Private dental practice that will give you the opportunity to learn, earn a salary while you train, and gain on-the-job experience within a warm nurturing environment, as well as the chance to gain experience in a wide range of NHS dental treatments, Dental Implants, Invisalign, and Teeth Whitening with ongoing support from our highly experienced team to start your journey.
The successful candidate would need to:
1. Have 2 x GCSE Maths & English at grade C or above (modern equivalent 4 or above) OR be willing to work towards this.
2. Enrol on a fully funded training course to gain their Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing (support will be given throughout this process).
3. Be a team player and a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care.
4. Provide chairside assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session.
5. Learn to perform high-quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist, or therapist in all procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Apprentice wage, £5.48 - £10.42 per hour + Pension
Schedule: Up to 39.75 Hours over Monday to Friday
