TGRC has collaborated with a leading global firm specializing in consulting, engineering, and quality control in the renewable energy and energy storage sectors. With over 15 years of experience and a portfolio of 300 GW in renewable energy and 30 GWh in energy storage worldwide, the firm brings extensive expertise to the partnership.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead technical due diligence projects
* Review technology and design aspects of renewable energy projects (onshore wind)
* Provide technical feedback on project planning for renewable energy initiatives
* Evaluate interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements, balance of plant (BoP) and wind turbine contracts, operation and maintenance (O&M) agreements, and financial models
* Verify energy resource and yield assessments (prepared by in-house Wind Resource and Yield teams)
* Conduct site inspections
* Refine and update methodologies and internal procedures
* Ensure the quality and accuracy of project deliverables
* Mentor junior engineers on company standards, procedures, and industry best practices
* Manage project timelines and client expectations
* Contribute to developing strategies for business growth
* Drive business development and expand the client network in the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Northern Europe
* Work independently with a proactive approach.
Qualifications:
* BSc / MSc degree in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering or related field
* Work experience in engineering consulting of more than 5 years
* Proven track record of managing complex projects, with a strong focus on technical excellence, client satisfaction and commercial success
* Deep knowledge of the scope for a technical due diligence (wind project)
* Experience with greenfield and operational projects
* Ability to develop and implement company´s strategy in the UK
* Capable to undertake business development activities (existing client network in the UK will be valued)
